Newport Aquarium

So we took the kiddos to the aquarium a couple weeks ago. They absolutely loved it!!! Ava would have gotten in the tanks with all the fish, alligators and sharks. Ben was a little more cautious but still had a blast. Ava got to "pet" a shark and Ben in his words "almost got it".

So, If You Don't Know by Now....

We are expecting baby #3 sometime around the first of October. We are very excited and looking forward to new adventures. Ava and Ben don't really understand it, but they say cute little things and constantly want to see my belly. Here are a few random pictures.
The first few are what happens when two 2 year olds get into mommy's makeup. And the last one is for all of you who want to see me with a belly (this was about 3 wks ago, I'll take a new one soon).

I always try to get cute pictures of the kids and its tough to get 2 to look decent and at the camera at the same time. But sometimes the pictures turn out better anyway because they are being themselves and acting silly. They will say "Cheeze" but usually while contorting their mouths into some funny shape. And as promised some pictures of the kids playing at the gym.

I know it has been awhile since we posted anything. So I'm sorry and not going to make any excuses. Every day that Ava and Ben accomplish something or learn something new, I realize just how blessed we are and I am incredibly thankful for them. They bring joy to every minute of my life (but sometimes frustration too).
We have been going to TKs gymnastics here for open gym and they love it. Hopefully, next week I will remember to take the camera and have pics from there to post.

SOOOO, I will just post a hodge podge of pictures. And some pictures of Abby too. She's getting so big and the munchkins love her.

Christmas time is coming!

It's been a long time since we posted. Life is busy and crazy all the time and we really should do better about updating, but we do the best we can.

Ava and Ben are no longer babies officially now. They can tell me what they want, don't want, and everything in between. Ava speaks in sentences most of the time now and Ben usually says 2 to 3 words together.

We recently went to see Santa. They both talked a big game, but were terrified of him. I even asked them if they wanted to go see him again and they both replied "NO". Maybe next year it will go better.

They also loved helping decorate the tree this year. They actually move the ornaments everyday to different places on the tree.
