Pierced ears

I know I am probably going to take a lot of grief for this from some, but I took Ava on Saturday and got her ears pierced. She did so good and cried of course, but she is a tough little girl. When it was all over she got her first sucker ever and loved it. She was covered from head to toe and so was I in red sticky sucker juice. She looks so cute and has not touched them at all. She lets me clean them and they don't seem to bother her.

On another note, Ben has now officially cried for about 48 hrs. I guess he is trying to cut another tooth because he won't even let me touch his gums. So hopefully in the next day or so he will have his 3rd tooth. Ava still does not have any teeth at all.
Ben said his first words this past week. He said Mom Mom. This was such a shock to me because Ava will not say mom mom. Ava says da da and dog, but no mom mom.

I have posted some pictures of Ava with her earrings and some pics to show you what my little monkeys have been up to all week. Ava now climbs up on the gate and then the pictures of them fighting go in sequence as to how things happen. First Ben pulls Ava's hand off then he eventually pushes her down.

On the move!!!!

Hope everyone enjoys this new site. We can post videos on here and we couldn't on the other site.

Ava and Ben are now just a few days away from being 11 months. It's unbelievable how fast time flies. It a month we will be celebrating their first birthday. I think we will have a huge blowout just to celebrate survival.

They are both walking now when they hold on to a toy. We have 1 toy that they can push and walk behind. And as you can guess with twins, when you have 1 of anything it never ends good. We are trying to get them to take turns, but sometimes they end up holding on to it at the same time and trying to walk. The cutest thing is you can act like you are chasing them and they will practically run.

Ava is quite the little monkey and loves to climb on anything she can get her leg up on. They are both extremely curious right now and love to explore and get into everything.
